If Americas economy collapsed or hit hyperinflation, would people starve and riot like Zimbawe and Africa?

Zimbawe hit hyperinflation from too much printing, and became a third world country with riots, civil outbreaks, kidnapping of children, malnutirtion basically everything AMerica funds to help aid. But my question (and also GREATEST FEAR) is can AMerica become bad like this, like in all those commercials, and have our children on streets starving, becomign slaves, chaos everywhere?? Will this happen, or will (if it already is) will AMerica slowly recover.?? AND...SDD if you answer understand please im going through a lot now, I'm not old like u and only 17 so I haven't seen the world this bad.
