If Adam and Eve were given the boot from Paradise because of a fruit and a reptile?

would it not follow that all avenging Chrisitians would, for evermore, seek to exerminate snakes and applesauce? Why are these treacherous things still among us while we allow innocent tuna and tigers become extinct?
